I thought I’d kick this off with one of my favorite paintings by one of my favorite artists. I guess this will be a tumblr of my artistic crushes, and maybe my own work when I get to scanning.
N.C. Wyeth. This is an illustration he did for Treasure Island. I saw this and most of his other work at the Brandywine River Museum, where I fell in love with him.
